It’s been a long hard road over the last 12 to 18 months but the team at Ornua Nutrition Ingredients in Leek, persevered and came through the other side.  With the recognition that determination and a willingness to succeed deserves.

 

The team were recently nominated for Productivity ‘Gained & Sustained’ Award at the annual Redzone Community awards in Las Vegas.   250 companies were present at the awards which is run in conjunction with the Pack Expo event and is the largest food industry event in North America (30,000+ attendees!).

 

Following their stellar improvements in Site OEE over the past 12 months, Ornua Nutrition Ingredients won the award! VP of Redzone Richard Tester stating “To be nominated is an achievement but to win you have to do something quite exceptional” Alastair Jackson, Managing Director for the site commented that "the engagement of everyone from operations and engineering  through to technical and planning has been remarkable and it demonstrates the true meaning of empowerment, enabling the team to drive through so much positive change within the business".
